  • How many times we as facilitators being asked to facilitate workshops to break down silos, and find out that the entanglement is way messier and more complex than conventional “team-building” or “getting to each other’s personalities” exercises can handle?
  • How often do we see groups in blaming, downward spiral mode and we wish there is a way to shift them to see the “big picture” quickly, readily and elegantly?
  • What about those times that we see a team of highly talented people coming together with the best intention and passion, yet ended up in quarrels and division?

In this practical session, you will be equipped with a powerful framework that you can apply immediately to help your clients/ stakeholders to “unstuck” themselves from conflicting situations and elevate them to see new possibilities by being mindful of each other’s perspectives, needs, concerns and structural limitations. This sold-out workshop was originally piloted in 2015 IAF Mumbai Asia Conference. We are running it again here in Hong Kong with fresh perspectives.

This integral framework creates a helicopter view and can be applied throughout the whole facilitation project, including client contracting, stakeholder interviews, facilitated sessions, client briefing and debriefing. It empowers us as facilitators and subsequently our clients to take the pulse with the group from a more holistic view, and see both the obvious element and the more subtle and nuanced.

This is originated from the work of Ken Wilber, cited as one of the most important philosopher and theoretical psychologist of our time. His work was being commented as “After reading Wilber, it is impossible to imagine looking at the world the same way again”.

All participants are invited to bring in your real-life client/own scenario that you would like to uncover blind spots and explore new possibilities.
